This page contains all the answers of frequently asked questions
(1) Keep the panel surface clear. If there is dust, please clean it as soon as possible. Do not clean it with corrosive solutions or wipe it with a hard object. Please clear any snow as well. The cleaning frequency is different based on the installation spot. It is recommended to clean it every three months. (Note that the optimal cleaning time is in the morning when the sunlight is not too strong)
(2) Check regularly for any rust on the mounting system, and conduct anti-rust treatment on the paint.
(3) During usage, the photoelectric parameters and output power of the solar panel should be tested regularly (1 – 2 months)
(4) During usage, the sealing and connectors should be checked regularly (1 – 2 months). If water is found in the sealing, change of panel color and the connection is loose, maintenance and replacement should be carried out.
A solar panel has many different mounting options available, depending on your application. You can hard-mount rigid panels using some mounting brackets.
Then, when it comes to semi-flexible panels, you can practically mount those anywhere you so desire.
Common installation methods include ground, roof, and pole installation.
(1) Check the solar panel’s parameters, then the controller can allow the working current to be greater than or equal to 1.2 times the solar maximum current
(2) Check the parameters of the solar panel voltage platform. The voltage platform of the selected controller should be consistent with that of the solar panel.
For example, 50W 12V solar panel, Isc: 3.23a, voltage platform 12V, the required controller current is 3.23*1.2= 3.9a, so we can choose a 5A 12V controller.
